About the Author

Christopher Ruíz is a fiction writer based in Central Illinois, an enthusiast of the macabre currently crafting a set of interconnected short stories for a horror collection anticipated to debut October 26th, 2025. While at work on the keyboard or at rest with a book, he’s ceaselessly accompanied by his two feline muses. When away from the keyboard, he can be found navigating the ups and (mostly) downs of his fantasy sports teams.

As a combat veteran and former crisis responder for a psychiatric residential treatment facility, Christopher approaches his craft with a distinctive lens, exploring the darker facets of human experience.
